EPACA Contest 2012
The European Public Affairs Consultancies Association proudly invites young Public Affairs professionals to participate in the second EPACA CONTEST 2012.
Following the outstanding success of last year’s competition, EPACA wishes to continue to promote the Public Affairs profession by recognizing original thought and writing talent. We encourage young public affairs professionals to help to shape attitudes both within our profession and outside, by sharing your views and experiences in an essay competition.
The contest
The Theme of this year’s competition is:
“The Public Affairs professional, good governance and the democratic process”
EPACA invites short contributions articulating your thoughts on this relevant theme.
The contributions should be in English and should use a
maximum of 300 words.
Eligibility
All young professionals under the age
of 30 (born on or after 1 January 1982) working
for consultancies who are members of EPACA are invited to join the competition.
Deadline to receive contributions
Contributions should be sent to the EPACA
Secretariat by e-mail (info@epaca.org)
by 19 February 2012 at the latest.
Jury
The jury is composed of the members of the EPACA
Professional Practice Panel: Lisette Tiddens, John Bowis, Tom Spencer, Alain
Perroy, David Coen.
When will the winner be announced?
The winner will be announced at the EPACA Annual General
Meeting on 20 March 2012, where we are aiming to have the prize handed over by the
keynote speaker.
What is the prize?
The best contributions will be published in Public Affairs News, on the EPACA website and in the EPACA newsletter. On top of this, EPACA will offer the winner a training scholarship of 2000 Euros.
